New Agapanthus africanus ‘Shooting Stars’ semi-evergreen form and shorter in height compared to Agapanthus ‘Queen Mum’ Growing to 50cm tall with lovely bicolour flowers violet blue at base and clean bright white to the outer edge of each floret. Produces masses of good sized flowerheads, makes very good cut flowers which will last for two weeks once cut and kept in cool water. Lush green strap-like leaves on this compact form of Agapanthus. Full sun and well drained moist soil, give a winter mulch to protect the crown.
