Growing Agapanthus Bressingham Bounty

Agapanthus Bressingham Bounty thrives in a sunny, sheltered position with fertile, well-drained soil. Full sun encourages abundant flowering and helps produce sturdy stems capable of supporting the large flower heads. Once established, plants are relatively drought tolerant, although regular watering during extended dry periods will encourage the most impressive floral display.

Container-grown plants perform exceptionally well and benefit from being slightly root restricted, often encouraging more prolific flowering. As an evergreen variety, the attractive foliage remains an important feature throughout the year. Remove spent flower stems after flowering and tidy any damaged leaves in spring. In colder regions, provide protection during severe frosts, particularly for container-grown plants.
