Description
Agapanthus ‘Ultramatrine’
Agapanthus ‘Ultramatrine’ is a beautiful deciduous African Lily producing rounded heads of rich violet-blue flowers above clumps of lush green strap-like foliage. Flowering throughout summer, this compact variety brings vibrant colour and architectural interest to borders, patio containers and gravel gardens while attracting bees and other beneficial pollinators. The elegant flower heads typically measure 9–12.5cm across and are held proudly on sturdy stems above the foliage.
Its compact habit makes it particularly suitable for smaller gardens, container displays and the front of sunny borders. The intense violet-blue flowers contrast beautifully against the fresh green leaves, creating a long-lasting display that brightens the garden during the peak summer months.
