Growing Agapanthus Autumn Mist
Agapanthus Autumn Mist thrives in a sunny, sheltered position with fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Full sun encourages abundant flowering and helps develop the best flower colour. Additionally, container-grown plants perform exceptionally well and often flower more freely when slightly root restricted. Regular watering during prolonged dry periods will help maintain healthy growth and encourage a long flowering season.
As an evergreen variety, the attractive foliage remains an important feature throughout the year. Remove spent flower stems after flowering and tidy any damaged leaves in spring. Furthermore, winter protection is recommended during severe frosts, particularly for plants grown in containers. A sheltered location will help maintain healthy foliage and ensure reliable flowering year after year.
