Description

Agapanthus Strawberry Ice (Albus Roseus)

Agapanthus Strawberry Ice (Albus Roseus) is a stunning evergreen Agapanthus renowned for its unusual colour-changing blooms. The elegant flowers emerge pure white before gradually developing a soft strawberry-pink blush as they mature, creating a beautiful two-tone effect throughout the flowering season.

Agapanthus Strawberry Ice Features

This exceptional variety forms neat clumps of attractive evergreen strap-shaped foliage and produces rounded flower heads on sturdy upright stems. Growing to approximately 60cm in height, it is ideal for patio containers, courtyard gardens, borders and mixed perennial planting schemes.

The unique white-to-pink flowers provide a long-lasting display during summer and make excellent cut flowers for indoor arrangements. Their delicate colouring combines beautifully with other summer-flowering perennials and ornamental grasses.

Growing Agapanthus Strawberry Ice

For best results, plant Agapanthus Strawberry Ice in a sunny, sheltered position with fertile, well-drained soil. This evergreen variety performs particularly well in containers where it can be moved to a protected location during severe winter weather.

Regular watering during dry periods and a spring feed will encourage strong growth and abundant flowering. Once established, this variety provides years of reliable garden performance and outstanding summer colour.
