Agapanthus Ever White

Description

Agapanthus Ever White®

Agapanthus Ever White® is a compact and free-flowering agapanthus producing large pure white flower heads above neat clumps of attractive green foliage. This outstanding variety is renowned for its exceptionally long flowering season, beginning earlier than many agapanthus and continuing with repeat blooms throughout the summer months. Its compact habit makes it perfect for patio containers, sunny borders and smaller gardens where space is limited but reliable colour is desired. Ever White® combines elegant white flowers with excellent garden performance and outstanding versatility.

Why Choose Agapanthus Ever White®?

The large pure white flowers create a fresh and sophisticated display that complements almost any garden colour scheme. As a result, this variety works beautifully alongside blue, purple and pink flowering perennials. Furthermore, Agapanthus Ever White® is noted for its early flowering habit and repeat blooming performance, providing colour over a much longer period than many traditional agapanthus varieties. The nectar-rich flowers also attract bees and other pollinators throughout the season.

Growing Agapanthus Ever White®

For best results, plant Agapanthus Ever White® in full sun with fertile, well-drained soil. During the first growing season, regular watering will encourage strong root development and healthy growth. However, once established, plants are relatively drought tolerant and perform well in warm, sunny locations. In addition, a balanced fertiliser applied in spring will help encourage vigorous growth and abundant flowering. This compact variety typically reaches around 35–50cm in height, making it ideal for containers and front-of-border planting.

Perfect for Borders and Containers

Whether planted in decorative patio pots, gravel gardens or mixed perennial borders, this variety provides dependable colour throughout the summer. Meanwhile, the compact growth habit allows it to fit easily into smaller spaces without sacrificing impact. Because of its elegant white flowers and repeat flowering nature, it is particularly effective when planted in groups or used as a feature plant in containers.

Care and Maintenance

Maintenance is straightforward and suitable for gardeners of all experience levels. Remove spent flower stems to encourage further blooms and keep plants looking tidy. Additionally, avoid waterlogged soil during winter and provide protection in particularly cold areas. With minimal attention, Agapanthus Ever White® will provide years of reliable garden performance and beautiful summer displays.
