Description
Hosta rectifolia species from Japan from the Aomori Northoern Japan region these plants are from seed collected in this region. Hosta rectifolia normal habit is upright mound lanceolate shaped green leaves with very tall flowerscapes up to 1m in height and lovely violet colour. A lot of the modern Hostas are sports or crosses from this species so if you are into Hosta breeding this is the plant for you. Small to medium sized mound at maturity.
