Description
Hosta Millennium
Hosta Millennium is an impressive giant hosta grown for its huge, intensely blue-green foliage and commanding garden presence. Forming a large semi-upright clump, this outstanding variety produces thick, heavily corrugated leaves with excellent substance, creating texture and structure throughout the growing season. Its bold foliage makes Hosta Millennium a superb specimen plant for shaded borders, woodland gardens and larger landscape settings.
As the season progresses, the striking leaves develop even greater character, with deeply puckered surfaces and slightly rippled margins adding to their ornamental appeal. The heavy foliage also provides improved resistance to slug damage compared with many thinner-leaved hostas. Slow to reach full maturity, this variety rewards patience by developing into a magnificent clump that becomes more impressive each year.
Plants leaves are cut back from August and will reappear late Spring.
