Description
Hosta Krossa Regal
Hosta Krossa Regal is a classic large hosta renowned for its elegant vase-shaped habit and distinctive blue-grey foliage. Widely regarded as one of the finest architectural hostas, this award-winning variety forms an impressive upright clump of wavy leaves that rise gracefully above the ground, creating height, structure and movement in shaded borders and woodland gardens. Its unique form sets it apart from many other hostas and makes it an excellent focal point in the garden.
The thick, blue-grey leaves are heavily textured and held on strong stems, giving the plant a refined appearance throughout the growing season. As the foliage matures, it may develop softer grey-green tones while retaining its striking character. The substantial leaves also offer better resistance to slug damage than many thinner-leaved varieties.
Plants leaves are cut back from August and will reappear late Spring.
