Description
Agapanthus Luna
Agapanthus Luna is a compact deciduous Agapanthus producing beautiful rounded heads of soft lavender-blue flowers above neat clumps of green strap-shaped foliage. Flowering freely throughout summer, this charming variety is ideal for borders, patio containers and smaller garden spaces where reliable colour and architectural interest are required. Its compact habit and prolific flowering make it an excellent choice for modern gardens and container displays.
Agapanthus Luna Features
Throughout the flowering season, Agapanthus Luna produces elegant clusters of soft lavender-blue flowers carried on sturdy upright stems. Furthermore, the delicate blooms rise gracefully above the compact foliage, creating a bright and attractive display. As a result, this variety is perfect for adding long-lasting summer colour to borders, patios and container plantings.
The nectar-rich flowers attract bees and other pollinating insects throughout summer. Additionally, the long-lasting blooms make excellent cut flowers for smaller floral arrangements. Consequently, Agapanthus Luna offers both ornamental beauty and valuable wildlife benefits.
Growing Agapanthus Luna
For best results, plant Agapanthus Luna in a sunny position with fertile, moist but well-drained soil. It performs exceptionally well in containers, raised beds and mixed borders. Moreover, regular watering during prolonged dry periods will encourage healthy growth and abundant flowering.
As a deciduous variety, the foliage dies back naturally in autumn before fresh growth emerges in spring. Remove spent flower stems after flowering and tidy old foliage in late winter. Once established, this variety is easy to maintain and flowers reliably year after year.

Agapanthus Luna combines elegant lavender-blue flowers, a compact growth habit and dependable flowering performance.
