4 Litres of Pine bark 2-8mm steam treated mature bark from Pinus Pinaster sent out in boxes.
This is the grade of fine pine bark for mixing in your compost or using as a pot topping mulch.
Free flowing product from sustainable source non toxic to plants.
Helps to suppress weeds, liverwort and mosses when used as a mulch.
Pest, disease and weed seed free.
Top quality product that is matured and graded.
4 litre sent out in cardboard box with bark in a plastic inner bag.
Particle size: 2.0 – 8.0 mm
Use at up to 40% by volume when mixing with other growing media.
For optimum aeration and drainage in most growing media. Can be used to replace sand or grit in potting composts and container composts. Will give a well-drained environment in large containers, promoting healthy root growth. Can also be used for Bonsai and Orchid growing.
pH of between 4.5 – 5.5, no need to add extra nitrogen.
For growing Garden Orchids mix this bark with clay particles at ratio 50:50
