Description
Hosta Golden Meadows
Hosta Golden Meadows is a spectacular large variegated hosta prized for its remarkable foliage and impressive garden presence. Broad, thick leaves emerge with creamy golden-yellow centres surrounded by striking blue-green margins, creating a beautiful contrast that brightens shaded areas throughout the growing season. As the leaves mature, subtle green streaking develops between the centre and margins, adding even more depth and character to this outstanding variety.
Forming a substantial clump over time, this sport of Hosta sieboldiana ‘Elegans’ is valued for its heavily textured foliage and excellent performance in shaded gardens. During summer, elegant stems rise above the foliage carrying attractive near-white flowers that provide additional seasonal interest.
Plants leaves are cut back from August and will reappear late Spring.
