this gives a good mix of leaf colour texture and form Hostas make the ideal plant for shady areas of your garden that most other plants will not grow in. Dappled shade is best for Hosta ‘Thunderbolt’ and more deep shade for the other 4 varieties. Hosta leaves start to die back from August and will reappear in Spring March onwards depending on soil temperature.
