Description
Euonymus Golden Quinten®
Euonymus Golden Quinten® is an attractive evergreen shrub valued for its vibrant year-round foliage and naturally upright, compact growth habit. Fresh young leaves emerge in bright yellow to lime-green shades before maturing to deeper green tones, creating an eye-catching display throughout the seasons. This versatile shrub provides excellent structure, colour and texture in borders, patio containers and low-maintenance garden designs. Its neat growth habit makes it particularly suitable for smaller gardens and contemporary planting schemes.
Why Choose Euonymus Golden Quinten®?
The colourful foliage provides interest throughout the year, even during the winter months when many other plants are dormant. As a result, this variety is ideal for adding reliable evergreen structure to the garden. Furthermore, the bright foliage contrasts beautifully with flowering perennials, ornamental grasses and darker-leaved shrubs. The compact habit also makes it easy to maintain and suitable for a wide range of garden styles.
Growing Euonymus Golden Quinten®
For best results, plant Euonymus Golden Quinten® in full sun or partial shade in well-drained soil. The brightest foliage colour usually develops when plants receive plenty of sunlight. However, this adaptable shrub performs well in a range of garden conditions and tolerates most soil types. In addition, it is suitable for coastal gardens and exposed sites once established.
Perfect for Borders, Containers and Low Hedges
Whether planted as a specimen shrub, incorporated into mixed borders or used as part of a low hedge, this variety provides reliable year-round interest. Meanwhile, its naturally tidy growth habit means very little pruning is required. Because of its evergreen foliage and manageable size, it is also an excellent choice for patio containers and entrance planting.
Care and Maintenance
Maintenance is simple and suitable for gardeners of all experience levels. Light trimming can be carried out to maintain shape if required. Additionally, removing any damaged or misplaced growth will help keep plants looking their best. With minimal attention, this shrub will provide dependable colour and structure throughout the year.
