Description
Crocosmia ‘Lucifer’
Crocosmia ‘Lucifer’ is one of the most popular and widely grown crocosmias, renowned for its brilliant scarlet-red flowers and dramatic architectural presence. From July to September, tall arching stems rise above clumps of sword-shaped green foliage, producing fiery blooms that create a spectacular display in borders, cottage gardens and wildlife-friendly planting schemes.
The vibrant flowers are rich in nectar and highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects. Their intense colour stands out beautifully against surrounding foliage and combines particularly well with ornamental grasses, Rudbeckias, Heleniums and other late-summer flowering perennials.
Why Grow Crocosmia ‘Lucifer’?
This award-winning variety is valued for its reliability, vigour and outstanding garden performance.
