Description
Agapanthus Summer Days
Agapanthus Summer Days is a striking deciduous Agapanthus that produces large, almost white flower heads delicately marked with pale grey-blue stripes along each petal. This elegant colour combination creates a refined and eye-catching display throughout the summer months. Reaching up to 1 metre in height, it adds structure, height and long-lasting colour to borders, patio containers and mixed perennial plantings.
Agapanthus Summer Days Features
The large flower heads are carried on sturdy upright stems above attractive dark green strap-shaped foliage. Furthermore, the foliage is enhanced by distinctive purple bases, providing additional interest even before flowering begins. The soft colouring of the blooms blends beautifully with both contemporary and traditional garden designs.
Throughout the flowering season, the elegant blooms attract bees and other pollinating insects. As a result, Agapanthus Summer Days is an excellent choice for wildlife-friendly gardens. In addition, the flowers are ideal for cutting and can be enjoyed indoors in floral arrangements.
Growing Agapanthus Summer Days
For best results, plant Agapanthus Summer Days in a sunny position with fertile, well-drained soil. It performs particularly well in borders where its tall flower stems can be fully appreciated. Additionally, it thrives in large containers and patio displays, bringing elegant summer colour to smaller spaces.
Once established, this deciduous variety is easy to grow and maintain. Remove spent flower heads after flowering to keep the plant looking tidy. Consequently, the plant will continue to provide attractive foliage until it dies back naturally in autumn.

Agapanthus Summer Days combines graceful flower colouring with strong garden performance.
