Clematis alpina 'Blue Dancer'

One of the newer Clematis with very pale blue flowers, 5-7.5cm long. Narrow twisted pointed petals. Very free flowering from April - May. Grows to 3m. In early spring cut back to 30cm above ground level. In second year cut back to 1m immediately after flowering. During subsequent years remove dead wood and weak stems only.

 

Plant is sent out ex 15cm container.
