Hosta 'Alligator Shoes'

Hosta 'Alligator Shoes' a cross between H. 'Dorothy Benedict' and H. montana created by Dr. Benedict. The broad leaf is a unique blue-green colour with a substantial creamy-white border and a tapered point that twists slightly. Although the immature leaf is smooth it develops a pebbled surface by the second year. Much better growth with a full morning sun and has lavender flowers. Medium mound size at maturity.
