Eupatorium Atropurpureum
Eupatorium Atropurpureum commonly known as Joy Pye Weed this is a lovely herbaceous perennial for the back of the border lovely large blooms are very attractive to butterflies. Violet-purple flowers in mid summer to autumn. Lance shaped, toothed, green leaves on cane-like, dark burgundy stems. Does not need staking it is strong enough to support itself.
