Dierama 'Guinevere'
Dierama 'Guinevere' this is the long awaited pure White Angel's Fishing Rod, truly outstanding. Guinevere looks well planted beside your pond or in a bog garden. Has lovely lush green strap-like foliage with long pendulous flower stems with clusters of white flowers hanging down at the end, just like the bend of a fishing rod. Grows to 1 metre and flowers June to August. These plants need to be repotted as soon as you receive them in a good ericaceous compost 50:50 compost:composted bark. The bark helps to produce better roots and keeps the compost acidic locking up most of the nitrogen you will need to add a slow release fertiliser with the mix like Osmocote. Keep in a cold glasshouse with plenty of ventilation over the winter ready for planting out in the Spring. Keep the compost moist do not let this plant dry out.
Plant is sent out ex 13cm container. |
