Wonderful woodland plants, common name Wake Robin, with unique colouration on sets of three leaves. The flowers are lemon coloured and sit upright on the plant growing to 25cm in height. Usually flower about May. Plants supplied are like thick roots that when planted out now will provide good colour in the spring although it might a season or two to get established but then they soon clump up. Ideal beside your Hostas and Brunnera. Likes the same conditions dappled shade and slightly damp soil.
