Perennial with tuber like root stock and an erect, basal, tuft of narrowly lance shaped hairy leaves.
Bears a succession of erect, blush pink two tone large flowers singly on slender stems in spring and early summer. Ht 5-10cm Sp 5cm. Requires full sun and well drained soil.
