H. Alex Summers
Named after one of the founders and the first president of the
American Hosta Society. A sport of H. 'Gold Regal' with dark green
leaves framed with a wide bright gold margin. Leaves of heavy
substance are held upright creating a vase-shaped clump which is
topped with lavender flowers in midsummer.
Medium mound at maturity. Partial shade.
