Clematis Duchess of Albany a cultivar raised by Jackmans of Woking in 1890, from crossing cl. texensis with cl.'Star of India'. This fine clematis has upright miniature tulip-like flowers which are 5-6cm (2-2.5in) in length. The four tepals are held closely together, opening enough to reveal the pinkish anthers. The tepals are a deep candy pink on the inside, with a darker central bar.
